Mumford & Sons Gentlemen of the Road Simcoe StopoverMumford and Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers comes to Simcoe, Norfolk County, on August 23, 24, 2013 – the only Canadian location. Each Stopover combines the intimacy of a community celebration with the excitement of a world-class music festival. This unique event is headlined and curated by Mumford & Sons, and will be held at the historic Norfolk County Fairgrounds (open to ticketholders only). The Street Fair is open to the general public.

TICKETS ON THEIR WAY: (August 13, 2013) Fans are starting to receive their tickets in the mail, so keep watch! Extra tickets and camping passes may be released (they won’t be mailed, but will be available at Will Call on site). You must sign up online for tickets, which will be awarded to lucky fans at random. To register, visit invitation.gentlemenoftheroad.com. If you are already registered you do not need to do it again. Camping passes are available for purchase by visiting http://catickets.gentlemenoftheroad.com.

Accessibility

With a valid permit on the vehicle, the Accessible entrance/parking will be off Queen St S into the venue. There will be an accessible viewing platform in the concert area with view of stage and separate washroom for those on that platform.

Port Dover Shuttle

Shuttles from Port Dover to Simcoe (Lot St.) on Aug 23 and 24. Shuttle pick up area in Port Dover is the Port Dover Arena located at 809 St. George Street. Shuttles will pick up every hour on the hour. 9am to 3am each day. Free shuttles for ticket holders. Must have a festival passport/wristband to get on shuttle.

This summer, take the “Footsteps of Mumford & Sons” route which band members of Mumford & Sons took when they visited Norfolk County in January 2013. Also, learn about the home town of Rick Danko of The Band and other rock legends through the “Footsteps of Rock Legends Route“.
