- 1/2 pound fresh asparagus from Norfolk County
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a skillet, lightly saute the asparagus in butter for 2-3 minutes (or grill on BBQ). Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice , and toss together. Serve with Aioli Dip (recipe below)
Aioli Dip – Ingredients
- 1/2 cup regular mayonnaise
- zest of one lemon
- 1 or 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Juice of half a lemon
- Cayenne pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic and cayenne pepper in medium bowl. Cover and chill in refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Serve with grilled asparagus.
