Port Dover prepares for the 152nd Canada Celebrations on July 1st as they have since Confederation in 1867. Many community groups contribute to the success of the day long festivities making this one of the most popular Canada Day celebrations anywhere.
Favourite activities include the Kinsmen Club Soap Box Derby as well as the Home Decorating Contest sponsored by the Port Dover Foundation. Attendees will also be treated to the boat and tug pull down at the pier and the Classic Canine Dog Show in Powell Park.
