Burning Kiln Winery has announced a stellar lineup for its first-ever “Concerts in the Vineyard” Series in Norfolk County.
“We are thrilled to announce that we have four incredible twilight performances coming to our Vineyard in August and September”, said Karen Matthews, General Manager. “We are grateful to the support of the Province of Ontario, through the Celebrate Ontario fund, along with local community partners. We are excited to share the concert experience and our award winning wines with visitors from across the province”.
The lineup includes:
- August 2 – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, The Drifters
- August 23 – Juno Award winning crooner of Jazz standards, Matt Dusk
- September 13 – From Blue Rodeo, Jim Cuddy
- September 27 – A Harvest Party feat. Canadian Country Music Award Nominees the Western Swing Authority
All concerts begin at 7:30 pm in the vineyard. Concert goers will have the opportunity to dine before the concert with packages from Magnolia Hospitality Company and David’s Restaurant. Dinner reservations for the patio can be made directly through the winery. Dinner packages for the Vineyard Pavillion are available online. Both venues will feature local musicians between 5 and 7 pm. There is also a limited opportunity for a few guests to spend time with Burning Kiln’s award winning winemaker, Lydia Tomek, with special barrel tastings and the opportunity to join her at the “Winemaker’s Table” for a dinner paired with Burning Kiln Wines.
Concert tickets go on sale today at www.burningkilnwinery.ca. Thanks to the Ontario South Coast Wineries and Growers Association, each concert attendee will receive a complimentary Tasting Card that will allow them to sample the wines at the other wineries in the Ontario South Coast Wineries and Growers Association. “As we work toward Designated Viticulture Area status, we are excited for our guests to explore Norfolk and venture out and taste the place of Norfolk”, says Matthews.
