Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup marg.
pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Method:
Cream marg and sugar, add egg and beat well. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Begin and end with dry ingredients.
Peell and slice 4-5 tart apples and place in greased casserole dish. Pour cake batter over the apples. Bake at 350 until toothpick comes out clean. Usually takes 35 minutes or so. Let sit for 10 minutes and then turn out on plate. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon sugar and enjoy –
