Recipe By: Kernal Peanuts

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon each; allspice, cinnamon, grated lemon rind
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup Kernal’s crunchy peanut butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream, whipped
  • ¾ cup Kernal’s salted redskin peanuts

Method: 

Blend flour, butter, sugar and eggs to make smooth dough. Form dough to fit the inside of a 10-inch spring-form pan.

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, allspice, cinnamon, lemon peel and eggs until well blended. Dissolve cornstarch in milk and add to cream cheese mixture. Add peanut butter and blend well.

Pour mixture into pan and bake in 350°F oven for 60 – 65 minutes. Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream and peanuts.
