It truly was an fantastic way to create summer memories.
Norfolk County offers many options when it comes to boat tours, charters and rentals. The views on the lake are awesome, the fishing is fantastic and you get to visit places that are simply not accessible by foot or car.
If like me, you have no boating experience, the best way to explore Norfolk by boat is to book a tour or charter.
Long Point Island Hugger Tours provides eco based tours in the Long Point Bay. Captain Ferguson aims to create a unique experience for his customers. This large pontoon style boat is really comfortable and can fit up to 10 people. They operate out of Long Point and Port Rowan all season.

This tour offers a leisurely trip up the Lynn Valley River, past the museum and into the Black Creek Nature Reserve. It is a fun way to spend an hour on the water at a very reasonable cost.
