Recipe by: Norfolk County’s Two Fairly Fat Guys
2 French loaves or baguettes from Norfolk County bakeries
1 jar Apple Pie in a Jar from The Cider Keg
1 cup casserole cheese from Jensen Cheese
1 lb bacon, fried from Norfolk County butchers
Cook bacon until crispy then cut in half to make shorter pieces. Slice each French loaf diagonally into 1/2 inch slices. Lay slices on un-greased cookie sheet. Top each slice of bread with one of the short pieces of bacon, then with a tbsp of cheese. Broil the entire pan of sandwiches until cheese begins to bubble and bread has toasted slightly. Remove from oven. Let sandwiches rest for a few minutes then top with a dollop of Apple Pie in a Jar. Serve immediately on platter.
